UM Professor Lilian M Azzopardi has been elected European representative of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) by global academic leaders at the 79th FIP World Congress in Abu Dhabi, according to a press release sent to Business Malta by the University of Malta (UM).

International schools of pharmacy affiliated within FIP voted at the election and the professor obtained the highest number of votes among the European candidates, securing a six-year term to serve on the Advisory Committee, the UM says.

The Global Academic Leaders Forum represents a network which interconnects schools of pharmacy and academic pharmacy leaders with the aim of sharing information about education and research.
